DAY ONE (11/1; Tuesday) Word count: 1547
And so it begins.
I'll move my summary here when I can, as well as my character profiles.
Edit: I am immensely tired. Note to self - Do not attempt NaNoWriMo during any part of layout week. Just. Don't. <3Self
DAY TWO (11/2; Wednesday) Word count: 3000
Fixed some spelling/grammar errors. Also decided to add two more characters, who will be introduced later. One is Isaiah's friend, a cop. (Still trying to resist making him a CSI.) Because I decided he needed at least a semisocial life outside of fish and Natalia. He is thus far nameless, but I still have time.
Also, there will be another female character, whom I can't describe at the moment, but she'll get worked in somehow. Probably with Chisachi, not sure. Since Annie's kind of scary.
And Rocky Horror Picture Show soundtrack has become my official NaNo music. :D
I have also recently learned that I write best from 7-8 PM. After that, my brain dies. From 5-7, I'm too busy getting distracted by LJ and Xanga and HotMail. And life. Suck.
DAY THREE (11/3; Thursday) Word count: 5112
Jaimie Kim took my printed copy, so I didn't get to check for spelling/grammar today. Today was my favorite work day, however. Even though a lot of things probably don't make sense, I like what I have. I don't think I want all of it to be very clear-cut. :)
I do, however, think that NaNo's word counter is screwed. It's giving me a higher count than MicWord. (But should I really be complaining?) I'll check again later.
Still trying to work on my new characters, but they'll get their intros later. I've been making up a lot of words today. That can't be good. By the end of this week I want to have reached the 15,000 mark.
DAY FOUR (11/4; Friday) Word count: 5524
Had psych appointment and driving lesson today, so I haven't really done as much as I'd have liked to. Also on first day of period; too tired to care.
So. This weekend will be a mad rush of comp time. <3
DAY FIVE (11/5; Saturday) Word count:
Why didn't anyone tell me I made a mistake in the Fibonacci sequence? I checked it again this morning and nearly killed myself when I realized that 377 + 233 = 610, not 710. ARR. I'm so ashamed.
But that's OK. Because I'm singing really loudly to Fall Out Boy right now, while my dad mows the lawn. It's a good way to be.
DAY EIGHT (11/8; Tuesday) Word count: 12,261
Uhm. I barely wrote anything today. I fail.
The R-S twins seem to be giving up, which is disheartening. But even though I'm getting nowhere too, I'm just going to keep trying. That NaNo email for Week Two was a bit uplifting anyway.
OK. I need to stop poking around on americanpoems.com. No more E.E. Cummings, Cheri. Go write NaNo. Mmkay?
DAY ELEVEN (11/11; Friday) Word count:
I am very behind and ashamed. Thus, no homework today. Only NaNo.
...And damn you, Ridley Pearson for you and your distractingly AWESOME piece of Disneyland literature. Arr. |

So. Instead of meeting my wc goal by 9PM tonight, I was busy looking for some visuals for the three or so people who actually read this. Because, dammit, I am a visual person.

So I need to pull off a lame excuse in the next part.
...I could go back and try again, but somehow pet interference in the third part just doesn't sound as good to me as it should.
